Simon Chemoiywo

Simon Chemoiywo is a Kenya long-distance runner, born on April 20, 1968. He competes primarily in the 3000m, 5000m and 10000m.

His personal bests include 7:42.40 in the 3000m, 13:07.57 in the 5000m, 27:25.82 in the 10000m, 2:10:35 in the Marathon and 43:20 in the 15Kilometr. He has earned 2 gold medals in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Kenya.
