José Gregorio Peña

José Gregorio Peña is a Venezuela middle-distance runner, born on January 12, 1987 in San Cristóbal, Venezuela. He competes primarily in the 1500m, 3000m and 5000m.

His personal bests include 3:44.06 in the 1500m, 7:54.42 in the 3000m, 13:47.25 in the 5000m, 29:38.56 in the 10000m and 1:10:04 in the Semi. He has earned 11 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Venezuela.
